Demcoratic Connections to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

Jamie Gorelick ($26 million) and Jim Johnson made millions at the companies, besides Franklin Raines.

And who got campaign contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?

No.1 Sen Christopher Dodd (D-CT) $165,400
No.2 Sen Barack Obama (D-IL) $126,349
No.3 Sen John Kerry (D-MA) $111,000

Obama, got that much in four year. By comparison McCain got $21,500 in 20 years.

Let's be fair. Out of the top 10, 5 were Democrats and 5 were Republicians.

I guess the question is why so much has been given in so little time to Obama. Dodd is Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking.

Bennett, Robert F. member of Subcommittee on Securities, Insurance and Investment

BTW, corruption and influence is a scourge of both parties.

I point out the Democratic connection because someone keeps blaming the mess on the Republicans.
