Former Democratic Speech Writer To Vote For McCain

link

"A speechwriter for Obama, Edwards, and Clinton on why she’s voting McCain."

"I can no longer justify what this party has done and can’t dismiss the treatment of women and working people as just part of the new kind of politics. It’s wrong and someone has to say that. And also say that the Democratic Party’s talking points—that Senator John McCain is just four more years of the same and that he’s President Bush—are now just hooker lines that fit a very effective and perhaps wave-winning political argument…doesn’t mean they’re true. After all, he is the only one who’s worked in a bipartisan way on big challenges."

And "Kenneth M. Duberstein, Ronald Reagan’s final White House chief of staff and a former political confidant of Senator John McCain, is the latest high-profile Republican to say he will vote instead for Senator Barack Obama for president.

Mr. Duberstein’s decision, confirmed in a brief interview, was not a big surprise given his close friendship with former Secretary of State Colin Powell, who recently announced on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” that he would vote for Mr. Obama, the Democratic nominee, because he was disappointed that both Mr. McCain and the Republican Party have become so socially conservative and negative."

Maybe that's why she's a "former" Democratic speech writer perhaps she's been a Republican in sheep's clothing, infiltrating the Democratic party and writing not so hot speeches for them...what I like about Obama is he writes his own speeches like all great Presidents before him, Lincoln, Kennedy, Jefferson, Carter....
