New Poll Question
Obama said he would raise the capital gain tax even if it brings in less overall revenue because it would fair. Do you think it is better for the government to maximize revenue or to achieve social fairness?

It's more important to achieve social fairness.
It is obvious it's more important to achieve social fairness, however raising taxes on the middle class will not achieve this, I think we should only raise taxes on the rich, especially on those who made a million dollars a month crashing the economy, we should really raise taxes on those guys, we should raise taxes big time on the oil companies too and on the investment banks...capital gains taxes should only be raised on those making more than say 30,000 dollars a year playing the stock market, if you make less than 30K in captial gains , no tax, if you make more your capital gains taxes go up proportionally, this is what they do in Europe, more or less, this is what Obama will do eventually I believe. Income taxes should be eliminated unless you're making over 250K per year, if possible, if not possible they should be minimal, the Democrats are much closer to this way of thinking than the Republicans.
