Will entertainment affect our Presidential choice?
Did the show "24" make it more easier for the American public accept the idea of a black president. Did the show "Commander-in-Chief" do the same for women. If you watch PBS, you might have seen "The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard" were a down to earth woman, supermarket manager, becomes a popular Prime Minister of Britain.

Being as I don't watch either show, I'd have to say they have had no effect at all.
The Show 24 made it easier for Americans to accept torture and justify racism against people of arab or islamic origin. These kinds of shows are worse than pornography, it foments a culture of violence and immorality, it's scary that it apparently had such high ratings, not a flattering reflection of American culture.
