Fower, the South Carolina Democratic chairwoman, said about Palin: "whose primary qualification seems to be that she hasn’t had an abortion.”

Just as they were trying to distance themselves from the implied insult of the "pig with lipstick" comment, the campaign goes off track again. One person also tried say that Obama's comment of something smells fishy was a reference to Palin's "Barracuda" nickname.
That republicans and other had used the "pig with lipstick" in the past is not an excuse. The word lipstick takes on a different connotation with Palin, just as "articulate" has a different connotation with Obama.
Update:
I think this is the quote; "Obama said "“You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called ‘change,’ it’s still going to stink.""

You stopped too soon. The rest of that quote was "after eight years."
I like what Matt Damon, the actor, known for his political and foreign policy awareness as an American citizen is saying about Palin in his you tube video, what he says in that video makes sense to me.
In short actuary tables show the probability is high that Palin could become President and that is a scary thought considering she thinks the World was created 5000 years ago and shoots Moose with assault rifles.
Russia and China would eat our lunch, not that they're not already doing so with Bush. They are just laughing as Bush/Cheney Bankrupts America with his wars on terror (that he and cheney created most probably so that Exxon/Halliburton could have Iraq), Russia and China are just waiting for America to become like they are, full fledged tyrannies. They love Republicans, so does Iran , think about it Republicans virtually gave Iraq to Iran, it is just a matter of time...they are so corrupt it makes them stupid. Anyway long term Iraq will be much better off in Iranian hands than under Saddam Hussein, because with Obama, Iran will become a true democracy, the Iranian people will overturn their oppressive theocratic government, once they no longer feel threatened by America and Israel.
