Town Hall Meetings - New Poll
Do you think it was a mistake for Obama to reject the Town Hall meetings that McCain proposed?

Not sure if this is true but I read somewhere that Obama did not reject town hall meetings outright but rejected them because McCain would have too much control vetting the audience, they couldn't agree on who would be the audience, thus determining the questions asked and the audience response...and we all know that Republicans only allow only the faithfull around them, liberals are barred from all Republican events often brutally manhandled by the police who don't wear identification anymore, like the law demands...but the corporate media does not report this.

McCain wanted 10, Obama wanted only one, on the Fourth of July when most people would be doing something else.
" Every meeting would involve an audience of about 200 to 400 people who are selected by an independent poll body, and last around 60 to 90 minutes, according to McCain's proposal."
