Hypocrisy of rich Liberals - Wind Energy

Why isn't Nantucket Sound producing wind energy? Because of rich liberals like Ted Kennedy.

"The Cape Wind Project is a proposed offshore wind farm on Horseshoe Shoal in Nantucket Sound off Cape Cod in Massachusetts. If the project moves forward on schedule, it will become the first offshore wind farm project in the United States.

A 2007 public opinion survey found that more than four out of five Massachusetts residents (84 percent) -- including 58 percent of those who live on the Cape and on the Islands -- explicitly support "the proposed Cape Wind offshore wind farm that would involve wind turbines being placed in Nantucket Sound about five and a half miles from the Town of Hyannis." A June 2006 survey posed the same question and found 81 percent support statewide and 61 percent in Cape Cod/the Islands.[1]"

The Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound
"was formed in 2001 to oppose a proposal to build a 130 turbine renewable energy wind farm"

Well Joe according to you EVERY problem in the world is caused by Democrats. Why don't you just have us all rounded up and exterminated, like Hitler tried to do with the Jews. I'm sure you'll sleep better at night with us gone.

Well, the mass media points out all the problems caused by conservatives and Republicans. I would be just redundant.

Cmon the mass media works for the Republicans, look at Fox, number one mass media, why they are number one... shows how stupid many Americans are and why Republicans get elected but they work for Republicans, and all the mass media work for conservatives and there are more democrat conservatives than republican conservatives since Bush II, because more than half the republicans are now religious fanatic neo-cons, like our own two senators from Kansas. The media is conservative because it is owned by corporations profiting from corrupt government. That's why they are so afraid of Obama, problem is they can't knock down Obama because he's just too smart and worse sincere, he really loves America or people more than money...so now they are going with the winner, if you can beat em join em. They see the people want change, people are consumers their clients. Mass media is super conservative, it is owned by corporations, they hit the liberals much harder than conservatives, look at Dennis Kucinich he's liberal yet never on mass media, even when he runs for President. Look at Clinton more conservative than that you die, always on.

Rush Limbaugh and similar are fascists not conservatives, Democracy Now is independent or liberal not conservative. That's the reality.

While Fox news beat CNN and MSNBC combined, it doesn't yet have the reach of ABC, NBC and CBS. Combined this with New York Times, Washington Post, AP, Time, Newsweek, US Weekly, Rolling Stone, and PBS the liberals control most of what the American public sees and read.

The conservative talk shows do dominate talk radio though.

The NY Time is conservative, they lied to us about WMD forcing us into war that as cost millions of lives, a third children, and trillions of dollars that could have been used for national health care or higher education or now to finance the debt. AP is super conservative, they're all conservative in your list except for perhaps Rolling Stone. If you want liberal media watch Democracy Now or read the Nation or Harpers or TruthDig or Counterpunch or Information Clearing House...they were predicting this crisis long before NBC or CNN. As for FOX it is not conservative it is fascist, the fact so many people apparently watch Fox is scary.

They might be conservative from where you stand, but they are liberal given the current usage of the world. Your media is considered the far-left.

Frankly I don't get why the Martha's Vineyard folks object to the wind farm. I think the vista of turbines over the sea is a beautifully elegant sight
