Campaign donations

48% of Obama's campaign donations came from donors of $1,000 or more, compared with 56% for John Kerry and 60% for Bush and McCain. Obama campaign said the campaign had 3.95 million donors and 91% where contributions of $100 or less. The difference is that many people gave numerous small donations.

I think all those who contributed to the Obama campaign deserve our thanks, they preserved freedom and equality under the law for all the citizens of the USA, they are the active ones who keep us free... the rest who did nothing to help Obama get elected should at least be thankful to those who did work for Obama, their freedom and equality under the law will be preserved and enhanced thanks to the efforts of millions of Americans who worked for and voted for Obama....even the super wealthy who may have to pay more in taxes in order to pay down the debt they created, which is only fair, benefit from being able to live and prosper in a free country. If taxes are more important to them than freedom they should move to Dubai or China.
