It is vital we remember what it is like to have a 'nice guy' who is unprepared to handle a crisis in the White House. It also is instructive to remember that it was McCain who bucked the Republican leadership and pressed the issue of having the 9-11 Commission. That would not have happened without McCain’s intervention. Just another uncomfortable fact.
I do not want to elect a man who is going to invite people to put us in harm’s way. Obviously no one is going to mess with John McCain. So what are you trying to say here?
Many of us distinctly remember Bush when he said: "I’ll never forget one time in Chicago when a reporter said, would you ever deficit spend? And I said, well, only — only if we were at war, only if there were a national emergency, or only if there is a recession. Never did I believe we’d get the trifecta. But we’re dealing with it."

I still say that McCain needs simply to run an ad these last two weeks that overlays obama's negro preacher, Jeremiah Wright, screaming: "The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law, and then wants us to sing God Bless America? NO NO NO! NOT GOD BLESS AMERICA. GOD DAMN AMERICA! It's in the Bible, for killing innocent people."
with the horrific thumps of the the bodies hitting the pavement after jumping out of the WTC.
It wouldn't be a dirty ad; just the truth. And obama remained a member of that church for seven years after the negro preacher screamed those words and accused white people like myself of being racist:
"And they will not only attack you if you try to point out what's going on in white America, the U.S. of KKK A."
This is the same "messiah" who encourages young people to show up at both candidates' rallies wearing "Sarah Palin is a CUNT" t-shirts.

By "you" I meant the other Joe (Biden). Not Joe the blogger. ha!
McCain would never run those type of ads. And those that would are not going to because of campaign finance reform. The election of Obama will bring an end to public financing. The Internet will be used to hide financing because Obama will not release donations under $200. How hard is it to make multiple donations on the Internet?
JFK was tested and failed. Result: Berlin Wall and missles in Cuba. Carter was tested and failed. Result: 444 days of hostage crisis. Iran didn't test Reagan.
You forget 9-11/Katrina and Bush. Instead of going to an unnecessary war with Iraq, I would have done two things: (1) kill a 100,000 muslims for every American life lost on 9-11 by going nuclear on Aghanistan, Pakistan, and possiby Saudi Arabia, and (2) immediately started a Manhattan Project on hydrogen or electric cars so that we never bought a drop of oil from them again.
