Proposal on Health Care.

We know that a lot of stuff is added or change when a bill is reconciled between the House and the Senate. My proposal is that before the final bill is voted on the public is given 30 days to read the bill.

That a document would be prepare to explain the bill in terms we can understand. If the bill says, "change line 21 in Law X from 500,000 to 2 million", that the document would say, it means giving Corporation Z a tax right-off of 2 million versus 500,000 for doing Y.

And that when any further changes are made, and additional 14 days are given for public comment.

What Would Jesus Do? and Lilly Ledbetter

Many liberals and socialist proclaim they are followers of Jesus yet ignore his teachings. Below is passage on which someone had a different interpretation than I.

Take the Lilly Ledbetter law which is to resolve unequal pay. Lilly agreed to certain wage, and after learning others were paid more, wanted more. This is in contradiction of this parable. The socialist or liberal would require equal wages, forcing the owner to either pay more than he could afford to the first worker or being less generous to the last.

Scripture: Matthew 20:1-16

1 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2 After agreeing with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And going out about the third hour he saw others standing idle in the market place; 4 and to them he said, `You go into the vineyard too, and whatever is right I will give you.' So they went. 5 Going out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour, he did the same. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing; and he said to them, `Why do you stand here idle all day?' 7 They said to him, `Because no one has hired us.' He said to them, `You go into the vineyard too.' 8 And when evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his steward, `Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last, up to the first.' 9 And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each of them received a denarius. 10 Now when the first came, they thought they would receive more; but each of them also received a denarius. 11 And on receiving it they grumbled at the householder, 12 saying, `These last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.' 13 But he replied to one of them, `Friend, I am doing you no wrong; did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14 Take what belongs to you, and go; I choose to give to this last as I give to you. 15 Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?' 16 So the last will be first, and the first last."

Does he even know what he is saying?

Obama: "Every time was are in sight of health insurance reform, the special interest fight back with everything they got. They use their influence, they run their ads. And their political allies try to scare the heck out of everybody. We can't let them do that again."

The special interest, the drug companies, are running ads on TV (Harry and Louise) supporting reform. While most people with insurance are happy with their insurance plan, they are trying to scare people in a radical reform.

They say can "save" 60% of the increase expected cost by eliminating fraud and waste. If it was so easy, why hasn't it been before now?

They say 45.7 million (2007) do not have insurance. 9.7 million were not citizens.

An "estimated that about 14 million of the uninsured were eligible for Medicaid and SCHIP" link

"In addition, some of the 46 million could theoretically afford health coverage, but chose not to purchase any. In 2007, 17.6 million of the uninsured had annual incomes of more than $50,000 and 9.1 million earned more than $75,000. "

"The Census figures also show that 18.3 million of the uninsured were under 34. Some in this age group may have simply determined that they are young and healthy and thus can do without coverage. "

Will this be the future of government care?

Death Drugs Cause Uproar in Oregon

"The 64-year-old Oregon woman, whose lung cancer had been in remission, learned the disease had returned and would likely kill her. Her last hope was a $4,000-a-month drug that her doctor prescribed for her, but the insurance company refused to pay.

What the Oregon Health Plan did agree to cover, however, were drugs for a physician-assisted death. Those drugs would cost about $50. "

Are We Moving towards Communism?

The White House now wants people to inform them of people's casual conversations. Shades of Soviet Communism and the Nazis.

"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov."

one link of many

The government is using the taxpayers money to buy the votes of the lower classes. Now it is starting "snitching" efforts. They pass bills they don't read and too fast so the people cant complain/inform their representatives in time. Are we quickly being transformed into a Communist nation?

A Dictator in Action: Chavez closes 34 Radio Stations

Chavez Closes 34 Radio Stations

Venezuelan TV station is stormed by supporters of Hugo Chavez

"The raid came amid a government crackdown on critics of Chavez's socialist revolution, a campaign which human rights groups have condemned as an attack on free speech. In recent days the government has revoked the licences of dozens of radio stations and proposed a law which would jail people deemed guilty of "media crimes" for up to four years."

Watch: Pete Sessions

Pete Sessions's blimp flies into storm

"Rep. Pete Sessions — the chief of the Republicans’ campaign arm in the House — says on his website that earmarks have become “a symbol of a broken Washington to the American people.”

"Yet in 2008, Sessions himself steered a $1.6 million earmark for dirigible research to an Illinois company whose president acknowledges having no experience in government contracting, let alone in building blimps."

"What the company did have: the help of Adrian Plesha, a former Sessions aide with a criminal record who has made more than $446,000 lobbying on its behalf."
