ACORN scandal growing, third video made public
"The hits just keep coming for ACORN. Last week two undercover videos surfaced showing ACORN employees giving advice on how to avoid paying taxes and start up a prostitution ring with underage girls illegally smuggled into the U.S. This morning a third video was made public."

They also say in no uncertain terms that Giles began "working" as a prostitute at age 13, and that they will be importing 13 underage girls from El Salvador. They say the girls are under 16 years old. The ACORN employess in the video freely offer advice on how to skirt the law, and don't even blink when the undercover duo mention the ages of the girls they will be employing."

This is an example of how the right wing destroys organizations that try and help the poor, it puts together a fake FBI type sting operation to trick naive workers at certain ACORN offices into helping them, the ACORN workers are sincere want to help, yet they're not always that well educated, don't always realize what they are doing, since most of them grew up in very poor neighborhoods where prostitution of young girls was everywhere because of the poverty and considered normal, many of the workers at ACORN did not grow up in rich white middle class neighborhoods where the children are over protected and don't feel the need to make money by selling drugs or themselves because they're fathers are in jail and their mothers are working 3 minimum wage jobs to put food on the table and thus are never home.
Acorn is an organization trying to end poverty in the US and help poor oppressed families pull themselves up by helping them find decent jobs, helping their children get an education, etc so they don't have to resort to selling drugs and prostitution.

Your statement is like: just ignore those priests molesting the little children because the Church does so much good.
No you are not understanding what I said, you have to understand the "backgrounds" of where a lot of these people who work for acorn come from, they grew up with pimps and prostitutes...neither I nor Acorn support or encourage prostitution of under age girls, I and Acorn think that those creating prostitution businesses especially the pimps and men who purchase, not the girls, should be severely punished, I believe men that purchase prostitutes and pimps should have all their wealth and property confiscated and donated to organizations that help women find alternatives to prostitution for income, and this all over the world not just in the USA, the founders of Acorn would agree with me 100%
Your choice of the catholic church is a more accurate metaphor for Acorn, just because a small percentage of the priests in the Catholic Church are perverts and paedophiles does not make the whole Church itself bad, the Church on the whole does enormous work in comforting those who suffer morally and need forgiveness.
Just because a small percentage of Acorn volunteers come from poor and violent backgrounds and can't see directly the implications of their actions concerning helping a prostitute and her pimp avoid taxes does not mean the whole organization is bad, Acorn on the whole does fantastic community work helping the poor and oppressed escape poverty and injustice, they are a jewel of a NGO that this country needs to keep and expand!
You can infiltrate any organization that does great work and find a few bad apples that doesn't mean you should shut the whole thing down, that does not make common sense...and in your video these women don't even seem to be bad apples just naive.
