EPA to Tax Farts and Belches of Cows and Pigs!
"The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) in it's infinite wisdom are protecting you from my cows' fart and belch sessions. Yes, its true. In an effort to keep the natural animal gas, via fart and belch, called methane in check, the EPA is going to tax me. The Supreme Court has declared that a fart and/or belch from a dairy cow or beef cow or pig contributes to air pollution. Naturally the EPA finds this a "taxing" situation!
The proposed EPA fees (taxes) on a dairy cow will be $175.00. Taxes on a beef cow will be $87.50 and taxes on a pig will be $20.00. These taxes are per head. If you have 20 pigs you will be paying a fart and/or belch tax of $400.00. How many livestock farmers do think can last with this proposed EPA tax? Not many, if any, is the answer."

Here's your chance to make a fortune...market "Beano" for cows and pigs.
This is probably a smart thing to do though on the surface it sounds stupid but in reality meat is extremely expensive in terms of fresh water consumption something like 65,000 gallons to produce a steak....the price of meat should be much higher forcing us to eat more organic vegetables which is healthier anyway... yet this is probably a psychological ploy to brainwash the public to be against upcoming carbon taxing legislation on cars and energy production which is badly needed.
Sorry in previous post I said it takes 65,000 gallons to produce a steak, this is a mistake, an error of poor recall, and irrelevant since water is recycled anyway, so it doesn't matter how much water a cow consumes.... though corporations throwing toxins into our water is relevant and should be heavily taxed...yet it is important to tax CO2 emitted due to the production of energy, or use of cars, etc. where alternatives exist.... yet taxing food where alternatives do not exist is probably against the interests of the people, so in effect taxing cow farts by the Bush EPA is probably really stupid, yet maybe an Obama EPA will fix that! Yet I still think it is a ploy by Bush's EPA to head of Obama's EPA to tax coal and oil in the future.
