What Beck is doing to confuse you is lumping together fascism with communism, what he doesn't tell you is Hitler hated communism, that is why American and European Banks and Capitalists supported and financed Hitler, the Republican party in America during the time of Hitler's rise to power, supported Hitler... Henry Ford was an ardent supporter of Hitler...When the Nazis occupied France , they were supported by the French upper and middle classes, the French resistance represented only perhaps 10% of the French population and they were 90% from the French Communist party...many in the resistance refuted communism later, after the war, but during the occupation they were communists... Stalin was not really a communist, he just said he was, he used communism to brainwash the people to fight against the elites, just like the Republican party today brainwashes the people in America today to vote against their own interests like pro choice (Hitler made abortion illegal, Hitler was an ardent Christian and thought he was doing God's will) or health care reform or same sex marriage etc by associating it with the elite intellectual class whom the lower classes of people naturally resented.

If Glenn Beck was a young adult during Hitler's time , there is no doubt in my mind that he would have been part of the Nazi party... just like people like Michael Moore Feingold and Kucinich would have been in the resistance.

I have seen many History Channel programs that stated Hitler was not a Christian.

Of course he lied, yet what was shocking was that the German people believed him, just like the American people today believe the lies of the Republican party and their pundits like Beck, Limbaugh, Fox etc...the Germans of yesterday that supported Hitler's rise to power are like the Americans today who support Palin's rise to power...they are all of the same ilk and character, those that support Palin today would have supported Hitler back then and vice versa

Since Hitler promised free health care and other social ideas, it is more likely that the followers of Democracy Now and other leftists groups would follow Hitler.

Palin/Beck followers are more like those following Churchill when he was a lone voice in the wilderness.

Obviously you know nothing of Human nature, 90% of the French resistance and 100% of the German resistance were communists, (most later rejected communism after the war), the people who followed Hitler didn't care about socialism or capitalism they didn't understand either, they liked what Hitler said about them, that the Aryan race was superior to others, that Jews were responsible for the economic crisis, etc....the Tea partyers are the same personality types as as those that followed Hitler, they long for more "order and security" in the society more police with more power and less accountability... Churchill would have been much closer to the resistance or left in America than with the Republicans, Churchill would have been in the Democratic Party, Churchill was against the banks controlling government and would have been on the left
