Earth Hour

In Monday's USA Today, page 6A, there is an article on Earth Hour. 4000 cities and towns in 88 countries dimmed non-essential lights for 8:30-9:30. Environmentalists claim this a "clear sign that the world wants negotiators seeking a climate change agreement to set an ambitious course to fight global warming."

In my opinion, a clear sign would be for the people to keep the non-essential lights off. No, this was just a publicity stunt, a feel good moment.
