Obama Care Preview: H1N1

If you want to get a preview of what it would be like under Obama/Pelosi health care, take a look at the swine flu vaccine. They told us there would plenty of vaccines, but people are still waiting hours in line just to be told the vaccines are gone. Now we find out major wall street firms have received vaccines before hospitals and those highly at risk.

"Recent news reports indicate 13 companies, including Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase and Time Warner, have been cleared to receive the vaccine. "

Proposal on Health Care Fraud

Watching a 60 Minutes program, billions of dollars have been wasted on fly-by-night organizations. Because Medicare is required to pay a bill submitted in 45-60 days, fraud is rampant.

My proposal: Every organization that requests medicare fund must have it's officers and owners submit photo ID, fingerprints and DNA before any payments can be made. This will prevent repeated abuse and allow the criminals to be tracked down.

Stimulus Jobs Overstated on Government Website

"A Brevard County child care center claims it used stimulus dollars to save 129 jobs when in fact the money was simply used to give raises."

STIMULUS WATCH: Stimulus jobs overstated in report

"The AP reviewed a sample of federal contracts, not all 9,000 reported to date, and discovered errors in one in six jobs credited to the $787 billion stimulus program — or 5,000 of the 30,000 jobs claimed so far"

"Even in its limited review, the AP found job counts that were more than 10 times as high as the actual number of paid positions; jobs credited to the stimulus program that were counted two and sometimes more than four times; and other jobs that were credited to stimulus spending when none was produced."
